AUSDA fa parte della Mappa della città educante di Roma Capitale
Anche il progetto AUSDA è entrato a far parte dell’offerta formativa “Mappa della città educante 2024-2025” promossa dall’Assessorato alla Scuola, Formazione e Lavoro e del Dipartimento Scuola, Lavoro e Formazione Professionale di Roma Capitale.
Una raccolta di 240 proposte didattiche, formative e culturali gratuite per le studentesse, gli studenti, i docenti e le docenti delle scuole di ogni ordine e grado.
All’iniziativa ha aderito anche l’ENEA con 13 percorsi didattici, tra cui anche quello dell’Unità Tecnica Antartide dal titolo Alla scoperta dell’Antartide: come le nuove tecnologie supportano la ricerca in un ambiente estremo.

Descrizione Ultimo continente ad essere avvistato ed esplorato, l’Antartide è oggi considerato un laboratorio naturale dove l’uomo studia l’evoluzione del nostro pianeta, del nostro clima e di molti altri fenomeni naturali. Facendo parlare coloro che hanno partecipato alle spedizioni italiane in Antartide, vogliamo offrire agli studenti e alle studentesse l’opportunità di conoscere come si vive e lavora in un ambiente così lontano ed estremo e come l’impiego di nuove tecnologie possa facilitare la permanenza e le attività in campo.
Obiettivi didattico-formativi Raccontando come l’ENEA attua le spedizioni italiane in Antartide, saranno trattati i problemi legati a una delle più grandi sfide della nostra società, i cambiamenti climatici in atto, sostenendo così quel cambiamento culturale e psico-sociale necessario a far interiorizzare agli studenti e alle studentesse comportamenti sostenibili e rispettosi dell’ambiente.
Attraverso la descrizione dell’uso di alcune nuove tecnologie si mira a suscitare la curiosità e la passione necessaria per intraprendere un percorso formativo nell’ambito delle materie STEM.
Metodologia e modalità di svolgimento Il progetto prevede un incontro in presenza presso l’istituto scolastico, dove un/a esperto/a ENEA terrà un seminario e mostrerà le attività logistiche che l’ENEA svolge per supportare la ricerca scientifica durante le spedizioni italiane in Antartide.
Durante l’incontro sarà organizzata una videoconferenza con il personale che, nel momento dell’evento, starà affrontando il lungo inverno antartico presso la Stazione italo-francese Concordia. Sarà l’occasione per scoprire perché è importante vivere e lavorare in Antartide anche quando fuori è completamente buio e la temperatura scende anche fino a -80°C.
Modalità di adesione il percorso formativo è dedicato alle scuole secondarie di I e di II grado e alIe FP
