Per limitare qualsiasi rischio di diffusione del Covid in Antartide, il personale è stato sottoposto a un obbligo di 14 giorni di quarantena e all’esecuzione di diversi tamponi di controllo a Christchurch (Nuova Zelanda), prima di partire alla volta della stazione “Mario Zucchelli”, con un volo del programma antartico americano (USAP).
