L’iniziativa Adotta Una Scuola Dall’Antartide legata alla XXXVII campagna italiana in Antartide 2021-2022 prosegue con successo. Un successo che si rinnova ogni anno grazie alla disponibilità del personale in spedizione e grazie al corpo insegnanti e ai ragazzi che partecipano con entusiasmo e impegno.
AUSDA è una iniziativa organizzata dall’Unità Tecnica Antartide dell’ENEA dedicata alle scuole primarie e secondarie di primo e di secondo grado, che prevede l’erogazione di un seminario tenuto da esperti ENEA e la possibilità di collegarsi in videoconferenza con il personale presente nelle stazioni italiane in Antartide, Mario Zucchelli, Concordia e con la nave da ricerca oceanografica Laura Bassi.
Durante questa XXXVII spedizione in Antartide del PNRA, ben 34 scuole italiane hanno la possibilità di collegarsi in videoconferenza con l’Antartide e dialogare con i tecnici e ricercatori presenti nelle stazioni.
Purtroppo le limitazioni imposte dalla pandemia hanno vietato l’ingresso in aula al personale non docente, bloccando di fatto i seminari in presenza erogati da nostro personale. Ma grazie alla disponibilità delle piattaforme per la formazione a distanza stiamo sperimentando con successo la realizzazione di seminari on-line. Mentre i collegamenti in videoconferenza proseguono regolarmente.
Molte delle scuole che partecipano ad AUSDA concludono il percorso didattico svolgendo in classe un lavoro di rielaborazione dei concetti appresi che spesso porta alla realizzazione di elaborati grafici molto interessanti e spesso l’attività coinvolge la pubblica amministrazione e viene citata sui media locali .
