Anche la scuola Primaria “Aurelio Saffi “ dell’IC n.6 “Silvio Zavatti” di Forlì ha partecipato al progetto AUSDA e ha decorato le sagome di 50 pinguini che sono stati inviati in Australia per partecipare all’Australian Antarctic Festival che si terrà a Hobart dal 24 al 28 agosto 2022.
L’attività, coordinata dall’insegnante Fabbri Vanessa, docente della 4A a.s. 2021-2022, è stata realizzata nell’ambito di un progetto didattico più ampio “L’ACQUA IN UN OCEANO DI APPRENDIMENTI, SENSAZIONI ED EMOZIONI. Un viaggio tra scienza e arte per conoscere il mare e confronti con temi agenda ONU 2030”.
All’attività hanno partecipato tutte le 20 classi della scuola primaria Aurelio Saffi. Gli alunni hanno decorato le 50 sagome di pinguino alte circa 50 cm, sperimentato diverse tecniche d’arte come la pittura, il decoro, il mosaico e gli origami, utilizzando diversi materiali, spesso anche riciclati, quali l’argilla, il pongo, la carta, la plastica.
Dopo aver seguito un percorso didattico multidisciplinare che li ha portati alla scoperta del continente antartico, e avuto la possibilità di dialogare in video-conferenza con i ricercatori e tecnici in missione sulla nave rompighiaccio Laura Bassi”, i ragazzi hanno collaborando alla realizzazione di un video che presenta il lavoro di decorazione dei pinguini con testi in italiano e in inglese.
